FUNDRAISING RAFFLE
Lochiel McGregor (Lochy) is a Nelson-born rising star in sprint karting. Aged 14, he attends Waimea College and is in Year 10.
Lochy started racing just after his 9th birthday, and quickly made his move through the ranks in New Zealand Karting.
In early 2022, Lochy was selected as the New Zealand representative at the FIA Karting Academy trophy. He is one of only three New Zealanders to ever be selected for this prestigious event, with only one seat available annually.
This event is invitation only, where the top karters aged 12-14 from around the world race against each other. The event is described as a training and detection program, for up-and-coming stars to show their true talent in front of selectors for international racing teams and academies.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and a great honour for Lochy to represent his country. We know he has the talent, along with the passion and drive to do very well in this sport.
The Academy Trophy takes place in Europe, with three events in 2022. The first in Genk, Belgium from 12-15 May, followed by Cremona in Italy from 14-16 June and the final round in Le Mans, France from 1-4 September.
We are now on the final round, and with a cost of over $80,000 to compete at all 3 rounds we are completing our fundraising efforts to make the final trip a reality.
Minime Photography are offering a raffle at $10.00 per ticket and be in to win a Session fee valued at $250.00 plus a digital image collection valued at $1195.00, PLUS an 20 x30" canvas print valued at $995.00 - total prize value of $2440.00.
Tickets will be on sale until Thursday 18th August 2022, and the winner drawn on Friday 19th August. The winner will be announced on our page following.
The prize is not transferable for cash, and must be used within 12 months of voucher issue. The voucher may be used for any of the following session types: Pet Portrait Session, Newborn Session, Maternity Session, Family Photography Session, and for photography within the Nelson region.
